Acclaimed internationally for his insightful artistry and brilliant technique, Andrew von Oeyen has established himself as one of the most captivating pianists of his generation. Since his debut at age 16 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Esa-Pekka Salonen, he has performed a diverse repertoire of concertos and solo works at leading music venues around the globe. A recording artist for Warner Classics, Mr. von Oeyen divides his time between Paris and Malibu.
The evening will begin with a cocktail and hors d'oeuvre reception followed by an intimate piano recital by internationally acclaimed pianist, Andrew von Oeyen. Guests will learn about the Prague Philharmonia's upcoming US tour from conductor Emmanuel Villaume, and will be ask to support the orchestra tour with a generous tax deductible contribution. Susan Graham, world famous in opera, concerts, and recitals, is hailed as “an artist to treasure”. She rose to the highest echelon of international performers within just a few years of her professional debut. A familiar face at New York’s Metropolitan Opera, she won a Grammy Award for her collection of Ives songs, and has also been recognized throughout her career as one of the foremost exponents of French vocal music.

The Prague Philharmonia is one of Europe’s most respected and dynamic ensembles, impeccable in its readings of Classical and Romantic repertoire, and is widely loved for its ravishing sound and irresistible stage presence. On this occasion it performs Beethoven's Coriolan Overture; Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major, featuring soloist Blake Pouliot; Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto No. 1 in G minor, with pianist Andrew von Oeyen; and Dvořák's joyfully poetic Symphony No. 8.
The Prague Philharmonia was founded in 1994 on the initiative of the conductor Jiří Bělohlávek (1946-2017) under the original name Prague Chamber Philharmonia. Today it is one of the most recognized orchestras, not only among Czech but also world ensembles. Regular invitations to tour abroad as well as recording projects with the most renowned international labels bear testimony to this. Since the 2015–16 season the orchestra has been led by conductor Emmanuel Villaume.
French-born conductor Emmanuel Villaume has led captivating performances with the most prominent opera companies and symphony orchestras around the world. Since the 2015–2016 season he has been Chief Conductor of the PKF – Prague Philharmonia.

Winner of the Grand Prize at the 2016 Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal Manulife Competition, Blake Pouliot’s 2023/24 symphonic highlights include Shostakovich 1, Bruch 1, Tchaikovsky, Korngold and Sibelius concerti across the US and Canada with Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal with Roderick Cox, Artis-Naples and NAC Ottawa with Alexander Shelley, Quebec City Symphony and Clemens Schuldt amongst others.

As Horizon Circle's inaugural event at Horizon House in Malibu, the afternoon began with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres followed by an intimate concert by internationally acclaimed pianist, Andrew von Oeyen, and violinist, Anne Akiko Meyers. Susan Graham delighted the audience with a surprise performance of La Vie en Rose as a teasy for Horizon Circle's upcoming event on November 9. The inaugural event was sold out and all proceeds supported the Prague Philharmonia's US Tour in January 2026.

Anne Akiko Meyers, one of the world’s most esteemed musicians, is a
GRAMMY® Award winning violinist, recognized as a muse and champion of many of today’s most important composers. Since her teens, Anne has performed around the world as soloist with leading orchestras, in recital and recorded more than 40 releases, which have become staples of classical music radio and streaming platforms.
